Purpose Clause
This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
The specific purpose of this corporation is to provide education, workforce development, vocational training, and supportive services to single parents and formerly incarcerated individuals, including but not limited to assistance in obtaining Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training, employment placement, life skills development, and economic self-sufficiency programs designed to reduce poverty and promote successful community reintegration.
The corporation may conduct any and all lawful activities permitted to organizations exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
